METHODS

  1. Site Survey is performed to identify problem areas, concerns and potential opportunities.
  2. Site Mapping and Delineation define the control area for optimal treatment and post seasonal assessment.
  3. Problem area to be broken up into Managed Control Zones (MCZ’s) for effective control and follow-up site analysis.
  4. MCZ’s are based on the existence of fresh mounds and previous signs of excavation in the area within a given field.  These MCZ’s contain numerous mounds and holes, with an intricate web of burrows, containing a colony of various families of gophers and or moles.  Finding the burrows of these pesky rodents is tedious, especially when they back fill their burrows, and then start new ones.  Gopher Blasters is persistent with it’s methodology in treatment of these rodents with follow-up control by site treatment and analysis.
  5. Mapping will be done to establish the number of sections required for control and as requested by the landowner.  One or more sections will be treated each day with post treatment analysis of the prior day(s) MCZ’s.  Any fresh mounds in a pretreated MCZ will be treated accordingly.

Evaluation of the control program will be performed following treatment of all MCZ’s.  The completed site analysis will be submitted to the landowner and retained by Gopher Blasters for future reference.
